Welcome to Worcent (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using Worcent’s website, applications, dashboards, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

  • User: Any person who accesses or uses the Platform.
  • Freelancer / Worcentian: A user who offers services, bids on projects, or applies for jobs.
  • Employer / Client: A user who posts jobs, projects, or purchases services.
  • Services: Fixed-price offerings listed by freelancers.
  • Projects: Task-based or milestone-based work posted by employers.
  • Jobs: Employment or contract opportunities posted on the Platform.
  • Dashboard: User account area after login.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  1. You must be at least 18 years old to use Worcent.
  2. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
  3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  4. Worcent reserves the right to suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Roles & Responsibilities

3.1 Freelancers (Worcentians)

  • Must provide truthful information regarding skills, qualifications, experience, and identity.
  • Are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and delivery of services or project work.
  • Must comply with applicable laws, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.

3.2 Employers / Clients

  • Must provide clear, lawful, and honest job or project descriptions.
  • Are responsible for timely payments as agreed.
  • Must not request illegal, unethical, or misleading work.

4. Listings, Visibility & Approval

  1. Listings (profiles, services, projects, jobs) may be subject to review, approval, or moderation.
  2. Worcent may limit, hide, downgrade, or restrict visibility based on:
    • Incomplete profiles
    • Policy violations
    • Disputes or complaints
    • Quality or trust signals
  3. Worcent does not guarantee visibility, ranking, or engagement.

5. Payments, Fees & Packages

  1. Worcent may offer free and paid packages for freelancers or employers.
  2. Payments are processed via third-party payment gateways.
  3. Worcent is not responsible for gateway failures, delays, or chargebacks.
  4. Fees, commissions, or subscriptions (if any) are clearly disclosed before purchase.
  5. All payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

6. Disputes & Resolution

  1. Worcent provides a dispute resolution mechanism for conflicts between users.
  2. Users agree to cooperate and provide evidence when requested.
  3. Worcent’s role is facilitatory, not judicial.
  4. Worcent’s decision in disputes is final and binding for platform purposes.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Circumvent platform payments or communication systems
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten others
  • Upload malware or harmful code
  • Use the platform for illegal or unethical activities

8. Intellectual Property

  1. Worcent retains all rights to its brand, logo, software, UI, and content.
  2. Users retain ownership of their content but grant Worcent a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it on the Platform.
  3. Unauthorized copying or use of Worcent’s intellectual property is prohibited.

9. Data, Privacy & Security

  1. User data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  2. Worcent implements reasonable security measures but does not guarantee absolute security.
  3. Users are responsible for safeguarding their own data and credentials.

10. Suspension, Restrictions & Termination

  1. Worcent may restrict or suspend accounts instead of permanent bans, using graduated controls such as:
    • Visibility reduction
    • Temporary restrictions
    • Feature limitations
    • Higher commissions
  2. Accounts may be terminated in extreme cases of repeated or severe violations.

11. Platform Availability & Changes

  1. Worcent may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
  2. Downtime, maintenance, or updates may occur without prior notice.
  3. Worcent is not liable for losses due to platform unavailability.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Worcent disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Worcent shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Worcent is not responsible for the actions, content, or conduct of users.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, unless otherwise required by applicable international regulations.

15. Changes to Terms

Worcent may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
